I have bought 100’s of different nameplates over the years. I have spent as much as $20 for a nameplate and they were all either torn off or the writing rubbed off in less than a year even the laser etched ones. If you are a dog owner you need to buy one of these nameplates and rivet it on to your dog’s collar. It will be the best money you will ever spend on your animal. This nameplate is 100% brass and has rounded corners with no sharp edges. It comes with the good hammer together style rivets that will not come apart. If you need to remove it from the collar, you will have to drill the rivets out. This is one of the great things about it is your dog cannot tear the plate off the collar. But DO NOT put it on a split ring with their other tags. It has to be riveted directly on to the collar permanently. Split rings will tear apart when caught on something. But when riveted directly to the collar it cannot get caught on anything. The lettering is stamped deep into the brass. This means the lettering will not rub or wear off over time and will always be easily readable. You can put up to 4 lines of information with about 22 characters per line. I put my dog’s name, my and my wife’s name and both of our cell phone numbers on it with room to spare. I bought one 2 years ago for my 5-year-old male Belgian Malinois and I am buying one today for my new 1-year-old female Belgian Malinois. I cannot emphasize how much you need this nameplate for your dog. If you really do love your best friend, you will buy one of these nameplates and rivet it to preferably a good leather collar.
